Kotlin Backend Developer

Overview

Looking for a Sr. Kotlin Backend developer who will be part of a team transitioning from an Oracle PL/SQL background toward Kotlin. The role involves creating new Kotlin services hands-on and teaching others how to do it, under the guidance of our Kotlin staff engineer, with a vision for future developments.

Responsibilities

• Be a valued team member and a strong team player, celebrating successes together.
• Join an Agile scrum team that works in two-week increments; participate in standups, backlog refinement, planning, retrospective, and other ceremonies.
• Work with the team on reliable solutions and take responsibility for the team’s code in a DevOps approach (including availability for 24/7 standby shifts).
• Analyze/design application and data architecture solutions, build code, enforce code quality, develop best practices, and manage deployments.
