About the Role:
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning in Years 1 and 2. You’ll help create a positive, engaging classroom environment where every child can reach their full potential. The role involves supporting individuals, small groups, and the whole class as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils across KS1.
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and participation in learning.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and learning materials.
Contribute to pupil observations and progress discussions.
Follow safeguarding and school policies to ensure pupil well-being.
