Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes Admin to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, Mumbai Suburban, or Navi Mumbai. This full-time role requires hands-on experience in managing Kubernetes clusters and orchestrating containers in a fast-paced environment. You will be instrumental in enhancing our innovative platforms and will need expertise in key areas of Kubernetes management, monitoring, and automation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Kubernetes Cluster Management (Mandatory skill): Proven proficiency in operating and maintaining stable Kubernetes clusters within production environments.
• Container Orchestration (Mandatory skill): Demonstrated expertise in deploying and managing containerized applications using orchestration tools.
• Monitoring and Logging in Kubernetes (Mandatory skill): Strong capability in implementing monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes to maintain system integrity.
• Networking in Kubernetes: In-depth understanding of the Kubernetes networking model, including policies, load balancing, and ingress management.
• Security in Kubernetes: Experience in securing Kubernetes clusters through the use of RBAC, network policies, and other security controls.
• Troubleshooting Kubernetes: Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve issues within Kubernetes environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Automation with Kubernetes: Skilled in scripting and automating routine tasks within Kubernetes using tools like Helm and Terraform.
• Resource Management in Kubernetes: Familiarity with optimizing and managing resources in Kubernetes for cost-efficient and effective deployments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance in a production setting.
• Implement and manage container orchestration solutions to streamline the deployment process for application teams.
• Develop and enhance monitoring and logging frameworks for better visibility across Kubernetes clusters and components.
• Implement industry-standard security practices to safeguard Kubernetes environments from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and optimize Kubernetes deployments and configurations.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues as they arise in a timely manner.
• Engage in continuous improvement efforts to refine Kubernetes processes and infrastructure efficiency.
• Participate in technical leadership discussions, bringing insights and recommendations for advancing Kubernetes architecture.
