Job Summary
The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for providing daily on-site and remote technical support to end users. This role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and application issues, maintaining accurate documentation in ticketing systems, and ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents. The position requires collaboration with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain service quality and operational continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support to resolve end-user issues.
- Handle inbound IT support requests and document resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems (Windows 7, 8.1, 10) and Microsoft Office applications.
- Support authorized desktop applications such as Cisco Jabber and enterprise software tools.
