Job Description
Position Purpose
CIB IT Production Infrastructure Version 2 (IV2) provides a platform aimed to be one stop shop for the production and consumption of community driven digital services. These services range from providing on–demand compute resources to analytics platform and DevOps utilities. This includes the support and project deliveries of the platform itself as well as on-boarding new digital offerings into the platform.
Key Responsibilities
The Production Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplined team, providing support to the production elements of the IV2 applications. The role is centered on application support, and requires a wide range of technical skills.
The Production Engineer will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to:
Pro-actively monitor, manage and improve availability and performance of the production environments (from presentation and application layers to Infrastructure layers)
