Lab Analyst

Responsibilities.

• 
  

  The Lab Analyst must certify for each assigned job function and will be responsible for routinely performing analyses in any or all of the following areas:

  
  Mass Spectrometric Analyses. Determine the isotopic contents of nuclear materials and elemental composition of various samples using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICPMS).


• Wet Chemistry Analyses. Determine chemical composition and impurities in nuclear materials and other samples using titrimetric, gravimetric, colorimetric, and chromatographic methods.


• Environmental Analyses. Perform analytical testing to ensure compliance with regulatory standards related to employee safety and environmental protection.
