Job Description
The Lab Assistant will support a variety of short and long-term projects with minimal supervision from the Senior Research Scientist. This hands-on role involves assisting with project execution, including the preparation of reagents and media for relevant assays.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain cleanliness of the hoods, clean glassware, prepare reagents and media.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
+ Conduct regular equipment validation and maintenance checks.
+ Prepare media and reagents in volumes appropriate for weekly workload requirements.
+ Assist the Research Scientist in drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for new protocols.
+ Comply with SOPs, batch records, and controlled documentation.
+ Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations, guidelines, and safety procedures.
