Job Description
This position is fully remote. Normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
" Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Thermo SampleManager.
" Interprets laboratory test methods for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results.
" Compiles custom calculation fields in LIMS (SampleManager) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system.
o Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS, such as Empower) are a secondary goal for this resource.
" Drafts documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use calculations and report results.
" Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications.
" Reports to Quality Systems support team.
