Lab Technician

Position Summary:

This position will perform routine lab tests as required to ensure customer shipments meet specifications, sufficient in-process testing is done to monitor and maintain process control, and crude testing is done according to standard procedures and as directed by supervisor. The technician will do additional testing as time permits for special project testing and problem troubleshooting. The technician may also perform other tasks as required to help in day-to-day operations as directed by supervisor.

Essential Functions:

Possess knowledge of plant specific lab test methods and perform them accurately as requested by supervisor.

Accurately record data or enter into computer as required in a timely manner.

Ensure instruments are calibrated and in good working condition.

Possess knowledge of QMS procedures and maintain active participation in the QMS program.
