Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for formulating buffers and reagents for biotech applications within a clean manufacturing environment. You will work with scales ranging from 100 µL to 2,000 L, and you will handle and dilute nucleic acids using advanced techniques. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, including wearing PPE, and involves quality control testing, troubleshooting, and protocol development.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate buffers and reagents for biotech applications at scales from 100 µL to 2,000 L.
  • Lift and move objects up to 50 pounds while wearing appropriate PPE such as face masks, lab coats, and gloves.
  • Isolate and dilute nucleic acids, including RNA and DNA, using pipetting and spectrophotometric techniques.
