Lab technician

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory and site tests for concrete, cement, aggregates, soil, bricks, blocks, and steel as per IS codes
- Perform cube testing, slump tests, sieve analysis, compaction tests, and moisture content tests
- Maintain proper sampling, testing, and documentation records
- Ensure calibration and upkeep of lab equipment and testing tools
- Coordinate with QA/QC Engineers and site teams for test planning and reporting
- Monitor material quality received at site and report non-conformities
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly test reports
- Follow safety guidelines and quality standards at all times
- Support audits and inspections related to quality control
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction material testing procedures
- Familiarity with IS codes and quality standards
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, reporting formats)
