Job Description
Perform laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical characteristics or composition of solid, liquid, or gaseous materials for purposes such as quality control, process control, or product development. Record test results on standardized forms and write test reports describing procedures used. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and calibrate laboratory instruments. Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas and add chemicals or raw materials to process solutions or product batches to correct or establish formulations required to meet specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Receive and test 24 samples per set in the lab.
+ Work at one station and conduct tests for viscosity, ICP, FTIR, pH, color, odor, etc.
+ Manage a large volume of samples and maintain a busy lab environment.
+ Ensure accuracy and detail in all lab testing and reporting.
