Department Overview

Our division is in charge of human resources (recruitment, training, evaluation, labor relations, HRBP) specific to mobile business organizations. While collaborating with Rakuten Group's head office, the department can provide a one-stop solution for HR issues, planning, policies, operations, and workplace communication to solve problems in a workplace environment (mobile market, store operations, global development environment, and human resource structure).

We organize organizations by area, such as recruitment, training, evaluation, labor relations, and HRBP, and provide opportunities for mutual understanding through cross-organizational cooperation, study sessions, and meetings.

As an organization specializing in labor affairs, our scope is general Labor Relations space (health and safety, revision of rules and regulations, welfare, and handling of labor issues), collaborating with payroll, attendance, and social insurance team. Despite the wide variety of operations, every one of us has an awareness of OPE (Operational Excellence) and is working to achieve greater efficiency and higher added value.

To support Rakuten's rapidly growing and rapidly expanding mobile-related business, we are expanding our Labor Relations initiatives.

Position Details

This is an environment where you can challenge to solve problems and work toward improving and upgrading existing operations, rather than simply being an operator. We often work on a project basis, and you will be able to expand your experience in project management and project lead.

You will be in charge of managing Labor Relations work process and improving operations and processes for the following tasks

- Revision of rules and regulations

- Application to the Labor Standard Supervision Office

- Health and safety initiatives

- Health check, Stress check, Infection Prevention, and Vaccinations, etc.

- Responding to inquiries from employees

- Other related work

Routine tasks are being automated, and we are working to strengthen our in-house customer service capabilities.

There are several foreign nationals among our employees, enabling you to acquire value-added expertise beyond your previous experience. Even if you are not confident in your English ability at first, it is no problem if you gradually get used to it while other members provide support.

Work Environment

Full-time employees:7 people.

Temporary Employee:1 people.

Mid-career has variety of its background, someone has long year HR experience in Rakuten, someone is certified social insurance labor consultant. And some of new grads enjoy working with utilize each new-grads network entire Rakuten group.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Multiple years of Labor Relation related experience and has basic knowledge of Labor Standards Law and Labor Contract Law. (If you are Daini-Shinsotsu, our team could support your learning and development)

- Excel (Pivot, Lookup functions, four arithmetic functions, etc.)

*Any industry is acceptable

Desired Qualifications:

- English language skills (read texts)

- Experience in Payroll and Attendance management

- Labor-related qualifications (e.g., certified social insurance labor consultant)
