Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities

• Performs sampling and testing of delivered, pre-processed, pre-qualification, and other special samples
• Performs calibration, verification, and maintenance for basic laboratory equipment according to established procedure
• Maintains inventory of reagents and safety supplies
• Ensures safe waste sample receiving, archiving, and disposal
• Conducts Pre-delivery Inspection if needed
• Updates Safety Registers as scheduled and delegated by the laboratory engineer
• Prepares samples for main oxide testing via XRF in Quality Assurance
• Monitors the temperature of the stockpile at the platform area
• Submits timely Technical reports needed by the Technical, Commercial, and/or CIP Group
• Provides Technical support to other sites without a laboratory
