Work alongside Organics and Microbiology teams, ensuring drinking water is safe and high-quality, while studying toward a Level 6 Scientist qualification to kick-start a long-term career.
What you’ll be doing as a Laboratory Analyst Apprentice:
Prepare and study samples using colorimetric, gravimetric, and automated analysis techniques
Investigate samples to meet UKAS, Environment Agency, and Drinking Water Inspectorate standards, following Health & Safety requirements
Perform basic maintenance of diagnostic laboratory equipment
Produce, record, maintain, and verify data in a highly regulated, UKAS-accredited laboratory using automated and manual techniques
Deliver excellent customer service in a regulated laboratory environment
