About the role
We are seeking Laboratory Assistants to join our dedicated laboratory team within Clayton, Victoria. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for specimen reception, preparation of specimens for analysis, customer service, maintenance of instrumentation and equipment and compliance with accreditation and quality assurance requirements.
The position will be:
Part Time
Day and Evening work on a rotation basis
Specific duties include:
Ensure that all company WH&S requirements are observed
Maintain a high quality, team focused, accurate and efficient work environment
Ensure the separation and triage of samples according to the priority of order, to facilitate the quick processing of specimens and delivery to our courier
The ability to prioritise specimens through interpretation of referrals and clinical notes
