About the role
Fita Laboratories is seeking a committed entry-level Laboratory assistant enter to join our team on a casual basis. In this role, you will be assisting with chemistry and microbiological testing sample preparation while supporting with sample collection, administrative tasks and support of our laboratory team.
What you'll be doing
Assisting with the preparation of materials, equipment and workspace for laboratory experiments and testing.
Provide friendly and professional customer service to clients when collecting and delivering packages.
Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of laboratory equipment and work areas
Organising and maintaining inventory of laboratory supplies and materials
Providing administrative support, such as record-keeping and data entry
Helping with the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials
