Laboratory Team Lead

Overview

Job Purpose To ensure the safe, efficient and effective operation of the Production (including Despatch) or Sampling teams. Done through clear communication, fair measurement of performance and colleagues to the expected standards, improvement in areas of identified opportunity in people (as part of development and NCR/OFI) and process. Full ownership of safety, people development and management, quality, lead-time and service. Clear communication.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Team Leader (all)

• Ensure that safe working practices are both demonstrated and assured in the team. Including but not limited to PPE use and maintenance, Manual Handling, COSHH, COMAH/DSEAR, FLT use, reporting of incidents, NMI’s and observations and adequate First Aid cover
