  • Full time positions based in Dandenong South, VIC.
  • Shift times: Morning: 8:00am – 4:00pm (Inorganics / SPOCAS) | Mid-afternoon: 12:00pm – 8:00pm (SPOCAS) | Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Inorganics – 20% shift loading applies)
  • An extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of National standard rate.

    • Reporting to the Section Supervisor, a laboratory technician will be primarily responsible for sample preparation and involved in some analysis and other lab duties.

    Key accountabilities will include but not limited to:

  • Receive and sort water samples, assign tests in accordance with the ELVIS database and prepare batch sheets on Microsoft Excel. Sort soil samples (delivered with tests already assigned).
  • Extract analytes from water/soil samples as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures.
