Laboratory Technician

One of our clients ( Food and drinks company ) looking for Lab Technician for Salisbury, SA site.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing & Analysis: Conduct physical, chemical, and microbial tests on dairy products and raw materials.
• Use analytical equipment, potentially including Near Infrared (NIR) Spectroscopy, for composition analysis and calibration.
• Reporting: Record, report, and interpret test results, identifying non-conformances.
• Quality Control: Verify records, manage product release, coordinate non-conforming products, and maintain GLP.
• Process Improvement: Drive improvements in lab practices and procedures.

Experience in a similar role overseeing food safety and quality, preferably within a large-scale food manufacturing organisation, is highly regarded.
