Laboratory Technician Part Time

Overview

Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term). Invest in yourself, JOIN AGROPUR. We Dairy you! Our Don Mills location is looking for a Laboratory Technician. Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the lab technician is expected to ensure quality standards are met and to continuously monitor and improve the product to meet Company and regulatory standards. This role requires daily testing (microbiological, compositional, keeping quality), participation in and knowledge of HACCP & SQF verification activities, record keeping, and inspection procedures.

What This Role Involves

• Thoroughly testing all samples from production within required timelines;
• Performing chemical and microbiological analyses of products and accurately documenting all results;
• Carefully and accurately interpreting all data and test results;
• Performing root cause analyses when issues are identified and gathering information from necessary parties;
