Laboratory Technologist

Perform specimen handling, accessioning, processing, testing, analysis, and result reporting in compliance with approved laboratory procedures. Maintain complete and accurate records of patient testing, including supporting documentation required for regulatory compliance. Follow established pre-analytical and analytical workflows and ensure all testing is performed within defined performance specifications. Execute and document quality control (QC) activities, including instrument/equipment verification, calibrations, and maintenance (routine and preventive). Ensure proficiency testing (PT) samples are tested and documented in the same manner as patient specimens. Identify, document, and escalate issues that may impact test performance; promptly notify the appropriate supervisor/technical leadership.
