Laboratory Technologist II

The Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre is 70 km south of Edmonton. This facility provides services to the residents of the city and county of Wetaskiwin, and the four Bands of Maskwacis. Population catchment area is approximately 35,000. This is an acute care facility with attached LTC, and is the only collection site for community patients. This is a working level supervisor position utilizing technical skills and judgement performing a diverse range of diagnostic procedures within the Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Cardiology and Specimen Procurement departments within the scope of practice of an MLT.
