Summary This position is located in the Mid-Atlantic Region, Fleet and Family Readiness Program, Fleet Readiness Department in the Fitness/Sports and Deployed Support Department. The purpose of this position is to maintain and operate clean indoor and outdoor fitness/aquatic facilities/spaces. Responsibilities The incumbent of this position performs a variety of tasks both indoors and outdoors to assist the Fitness Director on site serviced to keep facilities and grounds surrounding the fitness facilities and sport fields in a continuing state of cleanliness. May operate a variety of power operated tools and equipment to maintain outdoor facilities i.e. chain saws, hedge trimmers, tillers, hoes, chippers, snow blowers, tractors, trucks, pressure washers, etc. Ensures equipment is serviced prior to use and makes adjustments or minor repairs or replacing worn or damages parts as necessary.
