Are you looking to get into the Shipyard industry? Serco is looking for **Shipyard Laborers** to join a high-profile and challenging project supporting the US Navy. **Shipyard Laborers** will be on a dynamic team, supporting our C5ISR system installations. Bring your expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense and safety of our Sailors. This position will be based in the Norfolk, VA and Newport News, VA area.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the customer and other Serco team members to deliver high technology performed onboard U.S. Naval Ships and military installations.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Performs general manual labor including loading, unloading, lifting and moving supplies and materials.
+ Must perform duties as a fire watch and welder`s helper as well as install electric cable when needed.
+ Works under immediate supervision.
