Job Description Job Description Description: Summary: Supports various shop activities and duties while gaining knowledge of the business to assist in other areas as needed. Duties And Responsibilities: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Read production schedules and work orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Transport and deliver parts or materials between departments using an overhead crane, powered pallet jack, and/or forklift. Stage materials and parts for production processes. Ensure materials are available and ready for use in production. Coordinate with production teams to meet material needs. Place in-process parts and kits, not yet needed for production, in appropriate storage areas. Arrange materials and equipment in a neat and orderly manner. Clean and grind off excess slag on burned parts to prepare for machining. Help maintain overall cleanliness in the shop, around work areas, and outside in the yard. Sweep and clean fl...
