We are looking for an experienced LabVIEW Developer to design and implement instrument control modules for Power Electronics Validation Test Benches. The candidate will develop LabVIEW-based automation modules to integrate multiple instruments into a centralized test automation framework. Responsibilities:
Develop LabVIEW modules using NI LabVIEW 2024 Q3 (32-bit) IDE.Implement State Machine-based instrument control (e.g., Poll, Initialize, Configure, Connect, Apply Voltage/Current/Frequency, Disconnect, Close, Exit, …).Create LabVIEW drivers/interfaces for various instruments like .. o AC Power Supply. o Digital Multimeter (DMM). o Flow Meter. o Heater & Hipot Tester. o High Voltage DC Regenerative Power Supply. o Low Voltage DC Load. o Power Analyzer. o Regenerative Battery Pack. o CAN Communication Module. Ensure module compatibility with existing automation frameworks.Work with engineering teams to validate modules and troubleshoot integration issues.Maintain documentation for configuration files, VI libraries, and workflows. Required Skills & Experience:
4-6 years of hands-on experience in LabVIEW development.Strong knowledge of LabVIEW State Machine architecture and instrument driver development.Experience in SCPI/GPIB/RS232/CAN communication protocols for instruments automation.Good understanding of Power Electronics testing setups (voltage, current, frequency, phase, load testing).Familiarity with test automation frameworks (NI TestStand preferred).Tools/Languages: LabView, NI-VISA, NI-XNET, SCPI, CAN tools (PCAN, CANoe), Serial Terminal tools (PuTTY, RealTerm), Python (PyVISA), C/C++.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to work with cross-functional validation teams. Preferred Qualifications:
NI CLD (Certified LabVIEW Developer) certification.Experience with Battery packs, Regenerative loads, or Power analyzers.Exposure to AUTOSAR / Automotive validation workflows is an advantage.
