Black Press has an IMMEDIATE opening for a Full-time (40 hours per week) Mailroom / Bindery Operator at Ladysmith Press 940 Oyster Bay Drive Ladysmith BC

Job Details:

  • Experience with SLS 3000 inserting machine an asset

  • Set up Machine for Flyer inserting

  • Quality Control and Trouble shooting

  • Planning and preparation, adhering to deadlines

  • Regular maintenance performed

  • Keep the general area clean and tidy

  • Maintain a safe work environment

  • Learn how to operate a forklift and use when needed

  • Responsible for the overall operation of the inserter

  • Maintain an acceptable average net throughput

    • MUST have:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Valid Gas, Electric Forklift and Powered Pallet Jack Certification

  • Technical proficiency and Computer Literacy
