    Job Description

  • Providing advisory level of oversight on existing land acquisition processes for continuous improvement
  • Assisting the team with implementation of best practices based on industry knowledge and previous experiences
  • Identification and evaluation of proposed site for solar/wind farm projects, survey of proposed Land & verification/determination of land price.
  • Scrutiny and verification of all land related documents. Preparation of feasibility reports, preliminary notes on the property, title reports, and search reports.
  • Land acquisition of private/revenue land, preparation of papers and co-ordination with various revenue officers for getting necessary permission from Govt. authorities.
  • Coordination with various Govt. Dept. viz. Revenue, Panchayats, Taluka /sub-division / district level bodies.
  • Preparing the legal opinions by following applicable law and rules.
  • Drafting of all types of Deeds (Agreement to Sell, Sale deeds, GPAs, MOUs, Lease deeds etc.).
  • Legal correspondence, coordinate with various departments for obtaining development approvals for wind farm projects.
  • Resolution of legacy land related issues with projects already executed and in operation, that are pending closure.
  • Coordinating with land aggregators for sale/lease of Govt Lands.

    • The Successful Applicant

  • Graduate with 25-30 years of experience in land acquisition role for infrastructure/power projects.
  • Proven experience in land acquisition within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong knowledge of land laws and regulations applicable to renewable energy projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and land aggregators.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate records.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have degree and experience in the renewables sector.
