Job Description
SLCS is currently seeking a Full-Time Landlord Liaison for Project Home. As a member of this interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with other team members to support youth, adults and families at risk of homelessness to maintain safe, appropriate and permanent housing.
In this role, you will work closely with private and non-profit landlords as well as property management companies to support the landlord tenant relationship. As a landlord liaison, you will mediate tenant-landlord conflicts, inform and support the landlord and tenant regarding their rights and responsibilities, help them understand and have knowledge on the Residential Tenancy Act, help to navigate situations involving the Landlord and Tenant Board and mitigate tenant related risks. You will develop positive relationships with landlords and help educate them about the diverse populations occupying their units to help reduce stigma and discrimination.
