We are seeking an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to set, operate, and maintain flatbed laser cutting machines within a precision engineering and fabrication environment. This role is key to ensuring high-quality output, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate flatbed laser cutting machines (fiber/CO?)
* Load and unload sheet material safely and efficiently
* Interpret engineering drawings and cutting schedules
* Set correct parameters including power, speed, gas, and focus
* Monitor cutting quality and adjust where required
* Carry out basic machine maintenance and fault finding
