Laundry Aide

Summary:

Provide all residents with clean personal clothes delivered to their individual room each day. All non-personal laundry is sorted and loaded into transport van and unloaded upon return.

Job Relationships:
1. Reports to: Environmental Services Director.
2. Internal Contact: Pleasant View laundry staff, Housekeepers, Nursing Assistants, and Maintenance.

Hours of Work: 6:00am-2:30pm

Dress Code: Scrubs and identification name badge

Essential Requirements of Work: (Sufficient to do required duties)
1. Knowledge of how to do laundry tasks.
2. Have genuine desire to have the resident look well pressed.
3. Able to read and write English.
4. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
5. Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
6. Ability to cooperate with residents and families.
