Lawson Consultant:

We are seeking an experienced Lawson ERP Consultant to support our Finance & Accounting outsourcing engagement, covering Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), and Procurement.

The consultant will play a critical role in transition, stabilization, and transformation initiatives, ensuring effective process alignment, system optimization, and seamless collaboration between business, operations, and technology teams.

This role requires strong functional understanding of Lawson modules, hands-on experience with finance and Procurement processes, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable ERP solutions.

This position requires

• Transition & Knowledge Transfer
• Support transition planning and execution from client teams to offshore/onshore delivery teams.
• Conduct process walkthroughs and system deep-dives across P2P, O2C, R2R, and HR.
• Document as-is and to-be process flows, system dependencies, and control points.
• Identify risks, gaps, and stabilization actions during the transition phase
• Lawson ERP Functional Support - Act as a functional SME for Lawson ERP , supporting:
• Finance modules : GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management
• Procurement : Purchasing, Vendor Management
• Transformation & Optimization
• Identify process improvement and automation opportunities within Lawson and surrounding systems.
• Support standardization, control enhancement, and efficiency improvements across finance and Procurement operations.
• Partner with automation, analytics, and transformation teams to:
• Enable reporting and dashboards
• Improve data quality and process visibility
• Reduce manual effort and cycle times
• Stakeholder & Delivery Support
• Act as a bridge between business users, delivery teams, and IT
• Support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and change management.
• Assist in user training, SOP documentation, and governance frameworks.
• Provide ongoing advisory support during steady-state operations.

Qualification/Skillset required:

• 8+ years of experience working with Lawson ERP
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance Processes and Modules in Lawson
• Proven experience in ERP transitions, migrations, or transformations.
• Strong understanding of finance operations and accounting concepts.
• Experience working in outsourced/shared services environments.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.

Prior experience supporting BPO / F&A outsourcing engagements.
