* $152,556.00 per annum + 12% superannuation
* Full time, fixed term opportunity until 09/10/2026 (parental leave)
* Melbourne CBD based role (hybrid – 3 days in office)
About the opportunity
Enforcement Legal is responsible for monitoring and enforcing compliance with Victoria's accident compensation and health and safety laws. Enforcement Legal has a team of criminal, administrative, OH&S and compensation legal specialists.
This position is accountable for providing specialist legal advice to support both accident compensation and OH&S prosecutions and providing advice on the conduct of investigations.
Key accountabilities
* Provide strategic and timely expert oral and written advice to WorkSafe via the Lead Lawyer on complex legal and policy issues.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. The incumbent must manage constructive relationships in a sensitive and potentially volatile environment....
