Job Title: Layout EngineerJob Description

Responsible for the planning and layout of the line and grade portion of a project. The role requires expertise in the technical aspects of line/grade and layout, utilizing advanced instrumentation such as total stations. The Layout Engineer serves as a technical resource for others in line/grade and layout tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and maintain permanent control throughout the entire line and grade portion of the project.
  • Utilize and demonstrate knowledge and skills in the use of Total Station, Robotic Total Station, and Theodolite equipment.
  • Engage with the project lead to ensure proper scheduling and sequencing of the line and grade portion of the project.
