Location: Hybrid in GDL and Monterrey

We are seeking an experienced Development Lead – UI to lead the design and development of modern, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Angular , Flex layouts , UI/UX collaboration using Figma, and unit testing with Jest, along with proven leadership skills to guide frontend teams and ensure best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of UI/Frontend developers
  • Define frontend architecture, coding standards, and best practices
  • Perform code reviews and ensure high-quality maintainable code
  • Drive UI performance optimization and scalability
  • Design and develop responsive web applications using Angular
  • Implement flexible and adaptive layouts using Flexbox and modern CSS
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend teams

Testing & Quality

  • Implement and maintain unit and component tests using Jest
  • Ensure test coverage and CI/CD integration for frontend code
  • Enforce UI consistency, usability, and accessibility standards
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions
  • Identify and resolve UI technical challenges and risks
  • Support releases and troubleshoot production issues

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions preferred)
  • Solid experience with Jest for unit and component testing
  • Familiarity with UI performance optimization techniques

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • Proven experience leading or mentoring frontend teams
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with UI component libraries or design systems
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tools
