JD - Power Platform Developer (5+ years total, ~3 years relevant)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer with a total of 5+ years of programming experience, including 3 years of specialized experience in Power Platform development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop Flow and Cloud Flow, Canvas, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain Power Apps applications, including canvas and model-driven apps.
• Create and manage workflows and automations using Power Automate.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power Platform solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest features and updates in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Document development processes, configurations, and user guides.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of total hands-on experience with a strong understanding of software development principles.
• Must have - Minimum 3 years of hands-on strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop Flow and Cloud Flow, Canvas, Power BI, Dataverse).  
• Proficiency in developing canvas and model-driven apps using Power Apps.
• Experience with creating workflows and automations using Power Automate.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and visualization using Power BI.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and its integration with Power Platform.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have:

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (e.g., PL-100, PL-200, PL-400).
• Experience with Azure services and their integration with Power Platform.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
