As part of this project, you will be responsible for defining a test concept and specify, manage, execute and document tests with suitable tools and techniques, focusing on automation and agreed process standards. In addition, coordinate and monitor the defined test activities in terms of quality, deadlines and costs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the test strategy using standardized test methods and tools with a high focus on automation wherever possible
  • Prepare and maintain test plans aligned to release strategy and calendar
  • Provide and monitor the required test resources (personnel, methods, processes and tools)
  • Analyze, test and evaluate user requirements, specifications and models in terms of testability
  • Create test specifications based on a detailed technical analysis of both the functional and non-functional requirements (reliability, efficiency, usability, etc.)
  • Set up the test environment and required test data
  • Analyze the product risk to determine the test depth and identify residual risks
  • Conduct and document tests in alignment with the specified test cases and identify, analyze, describe and isolate errors
  • Provide test reports and evidence to key stakeholders
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to junior team members
Requirements
  • Strong computer science fundamentals with 6-7+ years of professional automation test engineering experience with Java and test automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber or Tosca
  • 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
  • Relevant higher education, professional background, certifications within engineering, computer science or computer engineering
  • Solid Java coding skills
  • Dynamic and agile mindset, being passionate about change
  • Independent, efficient, proactive and meticulous ways of working
  • Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent or Native English skills
