Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer specializing in cloud-native infrastructure, microservices, and high-performance software to drive enterprise platform solutions. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable, secure, and reliable systems on AWS, with a focus on Java, TypeScript, container orchestration, and event-driven architectures. As a technical leader, you will influence platform architecture aligned with organizational and regulatory standards, inspire engineering excellence, and foster continuous innovation, including emerging AI/ML integrations. Your contributions will optimize system performance, security, and operational resilience, supporting business agility and digital transformation.


Software Requirements

Required:

  • Extensive experience in AWS cloud services , including EKS , ECS , Lambda , RDS , DynamoDB , CloudFormation , CDK , CodePipeline , and CodeBuild (8+ years)

  • Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and TypeScript/JavaScript for full-stack or back-end development

  • Hands-on experience building microservices and event-driven applications using Kafka , RabbitMQ , or similar messaging systems

  • Proven ability to design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes

  • Deep understanding of IaC tools like Terraform , CloudFormation , and Ansible

  • Experience in implementing observability, monitoring, and logging using Prometheus , Grafana , CloudWatch , and other tools

  • In-depth knowledge of security best practices for cloud infrastructure, including secrets management with HashiCorp Vault and AWS Secrets Manager


  • Preferred:

  • AI/ML integration experience, particularly with LLMs / ChatGPT and model management frameworks

  • Knowledge of advanced Kubernetes deployments and cost optimization strategies

  • Familiarity with enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions , Octopus Deploy , or TeamCity


  • Overall Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure across AWS services, emphasizing EKS , ECS , and Lambda

  • Lead the development of microservices architectures , including API design, serverless patterns, and event-driven systems

  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines , leveraging automation to accelerate deployment and improve reliability

  • Drive observability and reliability practices with tools such as Prometheus , Grafana , and CloudWatch , ensuring high system uptime

  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to ensure platform compatibility, security, and compliance standards are met

  • Address technical debt with a pragmatic approach while delivering high-impact solutions

  • Support ongoing platform migrations, upgrades, and incident resolution, including troubleshooting complex issues

  • Mentor junior engineers, promote best engineering practices, and lead technical discussions and reviews

  • Stay current with emerging cloud, security, AI/ML, and observability innovations, integrating relevant technologies for continuous improvement

  • Experience Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience leading and building cloud-native platforms with a focus on AWS

  • Proven track record designing and operating microservices architectures at scale

  • Extensive experience with Java , TypeScript , Docker , Kubernetes , and Kafka

  • Hands-on experience supporting regulatory compliance , security , and cost management strategies

  • Experience working in fast-paced, large enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders

  • Familiarity with AI/ML integration in enterprise systems (preferred)


  • Day-to-Day Activities

  • Architect, implement, and optimize cloud platform components supporting enterprise applications

  • Develop and enhance microservices and event-driven architectures using best practices

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and enforce infrastructure compliance

  • Monitor system health, performance, and security, utilizing observability tools for trend analysis

  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, supporting incident management and root cause analysis

  • Collaborate with teams on platform architecture decisions, security policies, and migration strategies

  • Mentor team members, review code, and contribute to technical leadership and best practices

  • Research emerging trends, evaluate new tools, and lead initiatives to improve platform scalability and security


  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields

  • 8+ years of professional experience in cloud platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, with emphasis on AWS

  • Certifications like AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications preferred

  • Deep expertise in microservices, API management, cloud security, and observability
