We are seeking a proactive Backend Developer cum Tester who embodies the ethos of ‘dev owns quality‘ and excels in collaborative teamwork. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various domains and technologies, with a strong focus on Telecom BSS/OSS, and proficiency in writing clean, bug-free code in Python, Django, and other relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely within and across teams to ensure the seamless functioning of one or more critical backend modules with exposed interfaces.

• Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices.

• Proficiency in concepts related to message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.

• Familiarity with High Availability, Resiliency, Geographic Redundancy, and similar concepts.

• Write clean, bug-free code in Python and Django, and be willing to acquire new languages on the job.

• Develop and implement automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests for regression testing.

• Work with GitLab or Jenkins for version control and continuous integration.

• Set up CI/CD pipelines as required.

• Possess 3-8 years of relevant experience.

Must-Have Skills:

• Programming Languages: Python

• Web Framework: Django, OpenAPI/Swagger

• Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL

• Public Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP

• Hands-on experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.

• Strong understanding of message buses, multi-threading, and thread synchronization.

• Experience in developing automation tests, including unit tests and integration tests.

• Proficiency in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

• Prior experience with GitLab or Jenkins.

Additional Skills (Desirable):

• Hands-on experience with middleware technologies, including Node.js.

• Exposure to software development within the telecom domain.

• Understanding of touchpoints related to MVNO, MVNA, and MNO integrations.

• Experience with High Availability, Resiliency, and Geographic Redundancy.
