I. Scope & Summary of Primary Responsibilities

The Lead, Career Development is responsible for overseeing caseload management and employment development activities for the Come to Work Program in the Province. This role provides direct support to Talent Pool who are blind, Deafblind or have low vision, empowering them to achieve meaningful employment through individualized career plans and tailored one-on-one support. By collaborating with the Lead, Employer Engagement, the Lead runs intensive employment cohorts, offers career assessments and coaching, and provides ongoing job retention support—particularly for clients at risk of losing employment due to sight loss.
