Assigns and supervises the work of custodians and performs custodial duties involving the cleaning and care of buildings. Supervises a small group of custodians.

+ Cleaning is done according to the standards set by the department. Proper methods and procedures should be followed at all times in all areas with consistent accuracy.
+ Assigns, supervises and trains/coaches all staff in performing their duties with consistent accuracy. Assumes supervisor duties in the absence of the Supervisor.
+ Promotes and practices safety in the work place. Maintains an accident free operation. Uses and cares for equipment in a safe and proper manner.
