Lead Data Analyst

Role Description: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst with strong hands-on experience in core analytics using Python or R. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of supply chain or e-commerce business operations and the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

● Perform advanced data analysis using Python/R, including data cleaning, transformation, feature engineering, and statistical modelling

● Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large and complex datasets to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.

● Build and automate analytical reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to support business stakeholders.

● Partner with supply chain, operations, product, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

● Develop predictive and descriptive analytics models to improve forecasting, planning, and operational efficiency.

● Work with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across systems.

● Present key insights and recommendations to leadership teams in a clear and concise manner.

● Drive continuous improvement in analytical processes and data quality. Required Skills &

Qualifications:

● 4–6 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Senior Analyst.

● Strong command of Python or R for analytics (must have).

● Proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn (if Python) or tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot2 (if R).

● Solid experience in supply chain analytics or e-commerce analytics.

● Strong understanding of business KPIs: demand forecasting, inventory planning, order lifecycle, delivery performance, etc.

● Good knowledge of SQL for querying and validating data.

● Experience working with large datasets and data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).

● Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills.

Education Qualifications: - BTech/BE + M.Tech /ME (preferable)
