Lead Data Engineer
A high-performance quantitative trading organization is seeking an experienced quant-focused Data Engineer to help build and scale its core data lake. This role sits at the heart of the firm's investment and AI platforms, transforming raw, multi-asset data into highly available, production-grade data products.
The ideal candidate brings 6–10 years of hands-on experience, strong Python expertise, and a passion for building robust data infrastructure in fast-paced, performance-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
Deliver reliable, timely data via user-focused APIs in partnership with Product Managers
Enable quant research and systematic trading through analytics-ready data foundations
Produce AI-ready datasets in collaboration with AI research, engineering, and UI teams
