Hiring Lead Data Scientist (Preferred Immediate Joiner)

Location: Bengaluru (Work from Office, 5 days/week)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Lead Data Scientist who will drive advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and AI initiatives across complex operational and industrial environments. The role focuses on developing scalable machine learning solutions and optimization frameworks that enhance efficiency, reliability, and decision-making.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, explore high-volume sensor/IoT data, and translate analytical insights into practical, actionable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of predictive, prescriptive, and real-time analytics solutions for operations optimization.
• Develop ML models (regression, classification, ensembles, forecasting, anomaly detection) Build models for critical process parameters.
• Implement ML solutions in areas such as predictive maintenance, energy optimization, OEE improvement, downtime prediction, and yield consistency .
• Develop and implement predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization systems .
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA), SPC, multivariate control and other statistical diagnostics.
• Lead deployment of Generative AI tools , recommendation engines, and agentic RAG-based assistants.
• Integrate AI/ML pipelines with MES, SCADA, ERP, and IoT environments .
• Work closely with engineering and operations stakeholders to convert insights into process actions.
• Drive cloud-based ML deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Mentor junior team members and guide them through solution design and delivery.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in machine learning, feature engineering, time-series modeling , and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels).
• Strong command of SQL, GitHub , and data engineering fundamentals.
• Experience working with sensor data, IoT systems , Industry 4.0 initiatives ,
• Experience in Pressure, filtration, boiler, chiller, or gases systems
• Familiarity with Power BI/Tableau for analytical visualization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to MES, SCADA, ERP, PCS/PLC systems (preferred).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

• Manufacturing/Industrial engineering/Chemical Engineering/Brewery industry processes
