Job Purpose:
To develop and implement optimization models for key supply chain areas, including transportation, routing, and inventory management. The role focuses on leveraging advanced analytics and machine learning to drive actionable insights and improve decision-making within the organization.
Main Accountabilities:
- Develop and deploy optimization and machine learning models for forecasting, anomaly detection, and classification. - Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to derive actionable insights that inform business strategy. - Create advanced analytics dashboards for visualizing insights and facilitating decision-making. - Guide the team in selecting appropriate modeling techniques and foster a culture of technical excellence and innovation. - Ensure continuous training and upskilling of the team in emerging technologies. - Translate complex business questions into structured analytical problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into business processes and systems. - Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Support community-building efforts to promote analytics and data-driven culture across the organization. - Oversee the management of outsourced analytical projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value delivery.
