We’re Hiring: Lead Database Administrator (SQL Server DBA)
Location: Chennai (Hybrid – 3 Days Office / 2 Days Remote)

Opti Sol Business Solutions is looking for an experienced Lead SQL Server DBA to provide end-to-end support for enterprise on-prem SQL Server environments and work closely with US-based customers.
What You’ll Do
- Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases
- Manage Always On Availability Groups for HA/DR
- Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning
- Implement and monitor backup, restore, and DR strategies
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices
- Collaborate with application teams and act as a trusted customer advisor
- Handle on-call support and rotational shifts
- Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience
- Strong expertise in installation, configuration, upgrades
- Proven experience with Always On AG
- Solid understanding of indexing, tuning, and optimization
- Experience in customer-facing roles (US clients preferred)
- Exposure to Power Shell scripting, monitoring tools, and ITIL processes
- Cloud migration exposure (Azure SQL / AWS RDS) is a plus
