Job Description

Position Purpose

  • The Position will be responsible for providing basic data to reporting manager for Electrical detail Engineering.
  • This includes review of Load list , Equipment layout , Earthing layout , Lighting layout , Panel BOM, GAD.
  • Assist the activity related to purchase process i.e. Floating inquiries, Follow up with vendors, data collection & prepare technical comparison sheet, PR/SR creation in SAP system
  • Update records as per the guidelines provided to monitor the effectiveness of system

    • Strategic Responsibilities

  • Basic work for Electrical detail engineering for new projects being commercialised to meet the timeline.
  • Participation in the meetings & provide inputs as & when required by Dept. head.
  • Ensure completion of all project activities as per project schedule.

    • Operational Responsibilities

  • Review documents/drawing received from vendor/consultant.
  • Prepare data sheet, Technical clearance sheet, BOM.
  • Review Load list & prepare Specification data sheet for PCC,IMCC,APFC,Panel
  • Review GAD & QAP.
  • Review Panel Room Layout.
  • Review Lighting , Earthing Layout.
  • Review Cable tray layout & BOM.
  • Carry out inspection as per Approved GAD & QAP.
  • Update records as per the guidelines provided to monitor the effectiveness of system.
  • Analyse & initiate Corrective measures towards identified problems.
  • Preparation of documentation for site Execution.

    • Financial Responsibilities

  • Provide data for BOM to HOD .
  • Contribute to budget proposals
  • Contribute to budgetary controls within the area of responsibility.

    • People Responsibilities

  • To attend training programs for Electrical safety standards, Energy Conservations.
  • Coordination with DE cross function team and site execution team members. to ensure smooth working of the department to maintain high morale of the workforce
  • Continuously improve processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Set goals and review performance.
  • Identify development needs.

    • Education Qualification

    B.E. – Electrical /B Tech Electrical

    Work Experience

    10 Yrs. to 18 Yrs.

    Industry to be Hired from

    Agro chemicals/fine chemicals/ pharma-API/ Specialty chemicals.

    Functional Competencies

  • Preparation of Load list, BOM, SDS
  • Preparation of TCS
  • Review of Panel Layout, Earthing & Lighting layout
  • Preparation of Handover documents for site execution
