Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Lead Developer (Java-Heavy) for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Regulatory clients in Rockville, MD.


This role is hybrid ( days/week Onsite)



Lead-level responsibilities:
  • Knowledge transfer

  • Establishing best practices

  • Helping shape future architecture

  • Cross-functional leadership (Dev, Testing, UI, DevOps)

    • Primary Technical Focus:

  • Java (Backend heavy) – predominantly Java-focused

  • AWS serverless architecture: Lambda, SNS, SQS API Gateway, Step Functions No EC (not server-based)

  • Databases: PostgreSQL & Oracle mandatory Strong SQL skills required MongoDB/DocumentDB exposure is a plus

  • Integration/API knowledge: Must understand how integrations work and be able to walk through project...
