About the Role
We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and modern CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure, automate workflows, and support engineering teams with robust deployment pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure for applications and data workflows.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Buildkite , ensuring smooth and automated deployments.
- Containerize applications and services with Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes .
- Develop Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate version control systems (Git/GitHub) into deployment and release processes.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize workflows and pipelines using Airflow/Composer DAGs .
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of deployed systems.
- Participate in infrastructure design discussions, security reviews, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Hands‑on experience with GCP services and cloud‑native solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python for automation and infrastructure tasks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Buildkite).
- Solid experience with containerization (Docker ) and orchestration (Kubernetes ).
- Proficiency with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
- Familiarity with workflow management using Airflow/Composer DAGs .
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing large‑scale data or application workloads in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, etc.).
